Connecting youth to job opportunities

Available to teens and young adults between the ages of 16 and 24, who live or attend school within San Mateo County. Services include access to job postings and career guidance, with individualized support for economically disadvantaged youth.

JobTrain offers youth aged 16–24 services in employment, education, and job training. JobTrain is a non-profit organization that transforms lives by preparing those who are most in need with successful, sustainable careers in high-demand and emerging fields.

Elements for Success is an established school-to-career transition assistance program focused on developing academic, leadership, and vocational skills for JUHSD and Jefferson Adult Division GED students who have barriers to completing high school and retaining a job. Our purpose is to provide a variety of services where students can build a solid foundation of vocational skills, explore career interests and transition successfully to post-secondary educational opportunities.
